In March 2022, this game and other older Codemasters F1 titles were removed from Steam and the PlayStation Store. It was announced on March 18, 2012, which coincided with the first race of the season in Australia. Based on the 2012 Formula One Season, it is sequel to F1 2011 and the fourth video game in the series, which also includes F1 2009 and F1 2010. F1 2013 F1 2012 is a video game by Codemasters, released between September 18 and September 21, 2012.
